Itinerary

Day 1 :
Go to Underground River

Meet your tour guide at the hotel and drive north for about 2 hours to Sabang. Upon arrival, proceed to the registration area and wait for your assigned boat.
Take a short boat ride to the entrance of Underground River National Park then board a park-operated canoe equipped with a searchlight and head down the Underground River.
Marvel at the breathtaking formations of stalactites and stalagmites during the 1.5-kilometer cruise.
Return to the pier and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Puerto Princesa. If time permits, experience an exciting zipline.

Cancellation due to weather conditions

Please note that the Underground River tour is subject to weather conditions, and the park may be closed at any time due to excessive rain or rough seas. The safety of visitors is of utmost importance, and the park management reserves the right to cancel or postpone tours in the event of adverse weather conditions. In case of inclement weather, we offer the option to reschedule the tour for another day. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund. If the weather suddenly changes en route and we have to cancel the tour halfway through, you will receive a partial refund proportional to the remaining part of the tour that was not completed

Cruise inside the cave

The Underground River in Puerto Princesa is an incredible natural wonder that attracts visitors from all over the world. To explore this amazing cave system, we offer a 1.5 km cruise upstream into the cave. To minimize the impact on the environment, we organize this trip with a shared boat. Additionally, please be reminded that the park has a “no touching” policy for the rock formations, to preserve the natural beauty of the cave.

What to wear

It’s a good idea to bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the tour, as the boat ride can be wet.

Continue to El Nido after the tour

After your tour of the Underground River in Sabang, you may want to continue your adventure to El Nido. For a hassle-free transfer experience, a private transfer can be arranged at an additional cost.
